Important Notice for Visitors

To ensure fairness for all guests and to support our team, outside food and drinks should not be brought to the venue unless prior approval has been granted by management. Our staff are responsible for applying venue policies and are unable to make exceptions without prior authorisation.

Full Policy

  1. Barossa Bowland operates a full kitchen and café onsite. To ensure fairness for all guests and to support our kitchen operations, outside food and drinks are not permitted within the venue.

  2. This policy applies to all guests, including children, unless prior approval has been granted by management.

  3. This includes takeaway food, packed lunches, picnic food, supermarket purchases, birthday cakes, party food and lolly bags.

  4. Personal water bottles are welcome.

  5. Parents and carers may bring baby food for infants only where required. Our kitchen offers a range of food options suitable for toddlers.

  6. We offer a range of food options onsite and are often able to accommodate common dietary requirements. If you are happy with the options available on our menu, including gluten-free options, there is no need to contact us in advance.

  7. If you or your group have specific or medically necessary dietary requirements that you believe we may not be able to cater for, please contact us at least 48 hours prior to your visit so we can discuss available options.

  8. This notice allows our team time to plan ahead and, where required, source additional ingredients so we can safely accommodate your needs.

  9. In circumstances where Barossa Bowland is unable to reasonably provide a suitable alternative for a genuine, medically necessary or highly specialised dietary requirement, management may grant permission for outside food to be brought into the venue. Our kitchen is able to accommodate most common dietary needs, including gluten-free options, so this provision is intended for unusual or clinically required diets rather than personal preferences or brand-specific foods. Any such permission must be discussed with and approved by management prior to arrival.

  10. Visitors requiring specialised feeding arrangements, such as a pureed diet or PEG feeding, are permitted to bring the necessary food where a visit must occur during meal times. In these situations, management must be advised in advance so that our team can be informed that the arrangement has been approved.

  11. Visitors should not bring outside food to the venue unless this has been discussed and approved in advance.

  12. Please note that if prior notice is not provided, we are unable to make exceptions on the day.

  13. If our menu does not suit your needs, you are welcome to enjoy a meal elsewhere before or after your visit.

  14. Groups arriving with outside food may be asked to remove it from the venue or return at another time.

  15. For organised visits, group organisers are responsible for ensuring their participants are aware of and comply with this policy prior to arrival.

  16. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a fair and enjoyable environment for all guests.

Barossa Bowland reserves the right to enforce this policy to ensure fairness for all guests and to support our staff in applying venue policies.
